So, we believe that we're offering a great prize for our 1st Annual Father's Day Contest, but to be fair we need to outline the rules.
What is the prize? This year's prize is a Walter Payton's Collector's Item. It features an 8"x10" action image of Walter Payton, a minted 24KT Gold overlay Chicago Bears Franchise Coin, and a 1.5” x 1.5” swatch from Walter Payton’s White Game Used Jersey. Where do I enter? Go to the MENeGifts.com Facebook Page to enter. But hurry because the contest is limited to the first 100 people and the winner will be announced on June 10, 2008. Who can win? - This contest is open to US residents over the age of 18. How can I win? - To be eligible for the contest you'll need to do two simple steps: 1st - You'll need to become a Fan of this MENeGifts.com Facebook page. 2nd - You'll need to post your First name, Last initial and the City that you live in, in topic that says "Post Message Here For Walter Payton Father's Day Contest". How many people will be eligible to win? - The contest is limited to the first 100 people that complete the two steps shown above. How will I know if I qualified? - I will confirm the name of the entrants based on the order in which you post the message in the second step above. I will restate your first name, last initial and city and assign you a number ranging from 00 - 99. I will also send you a message to your Facebook inbox with additional security information that you will need to provide if you are the lucky winner. See below for an explanation of the numbers. How will the winner be chosen? - To make this contest fair the winner will be chosen randomly by the Illinois lottery (although they don't know it yet!). Here's how it's going to work....the Illinois lottery has two Pick 3 drawings per day, one during the midday and one in the evening. The lucky winner of the Walter Payton Collector's Item will be chosen by taking the first two numbers from the Evening Pick 3 game on the night of June 9, 2008. So, for example if the Pick 3 numbers are 493 then the lucky winner will be number 49. If the number are 008 then the lucky winner will be number 00. How will I know what numbers were chosen on the evening Pick 3 game on June 9, 2008? - We will post a new topic with the winning numbers and you will also be able to verify the numbers by checking the Chicagotribune.com website or by going to the Illinois Lottery Website. If I'm the winner when will I receive my gift? - The winner will be announced via a posting to the wall of the MENeGifts.com Facebook page. They will also receive a message sent to their Facebook Inbox with further details on how to claim your prize. The gift will be sent via UPS upon verification of the security information and your shipping address. Can I have this shipped directly to my father if I'm the winner? - Yes, we will be happy to ship the prize directly to your father provided that he lives in the continental US. Otherwise, we will ship it directly to you. Anything else I should know? - Yes, it is important that you check to see if you're the winner on Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Father's Day will only be 5 days away so we'll need to confirm your security information and shipping address ASAP. I didn't win but can I still order this Walter Payton Collector's Item? - Yes, but there is a limited quantity avaiable so be sure to check MENeGifts.com to determine if this is still available.
